This weeks Sir Nigel Bolton's Shenanigan's
----------

It might have been a dark and stormy night in Fresno, but there was more action in the ring than the fans who gathers at the NAW Dojo could ask for!!. The show started with hosts, Showtime Billy Silver and Commissioner Bobby Corona recapping the preveious dojo show, including the fact that one of them might possibly wearing roller skates before the night is over!!!
Match 1: Out came Nixi, hoping to be facing Jenna Lynne or another top female competitor, but Corona had a surprize for her and brought out the massive Red Rhyno. Rhyno while pissed off he had to face a girl, even gave Nixi and open shot at him but try as he might Nixi was no match for the massive giant. Rhyno erupted and started destroying Nixi until from out of the back came Anotonio "The Prediciment" Riv, who nailed Rhyno across the head wiht a steel cooking sheet, this caused the ref to call for the bell and awar the match to Red Rhyno on a DQ. Rhyno was fit to be tied and demanded to Corona that Riv wrestle a wrestler of Rhyno's choosing. Riv was all for it as he protected Nixi, which lead us into the second match.......
Match 2: As Antonio Riv and Nixi waited in the ring, our game the bohemeth from Stone Mountian, Larry Blackwell! Riv put up a good fight, but in the end, with Red Rhyno outside of the ring and Blackwell's devistating attack on Riv, "The Prediciment", was in a veyr sticky prediciment and Blackwell got the 1-2-3 for the win. But I dont think we have seen the last of the feud between Red Rhyno and Riv, nor have we seen the last of the possible teaming of Red Rhyno and Larry Blackwell, who I would say under the guidence of a good manager could dominate the NAW Tag team division!
Match 3: Speaking of the tag team division, this brought out the Channel Surfers, who were to face the Suburban Commandos in a rematch, but the Commandos were no where to be found. So when challanged by the Surfer for another "quality tag team" to face, Corona brought out one of the most devious and dominating tag teams in all of Northern California, Steve Stamp & Johnny Plinko aka The Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! These two teams went at it tooth and nail, neither getting the advantage, finally all 4 men were in the ring and then slipped out on to the floor where the Ref called for the bell and declared a Double DQ/No Contest. Both teams bantered back and forth, while the Scoundrels used a young boy as a sheild between them and the Surfers until the Surfers chased them out of the building.
Match 4: Commission Corona then brought out former NAW Champion, Wrestling Personified himself, Rik Luxury, who insisted that a young woman in the front row was to ugly to watch him wrestle and demanded she turn her chair around and face away from the ring. The woman then slapped Luxury right across the face. While Luxury said he wouldnt slap a woman, he did say he was going to take his anger out on his opponent, Tank Alvarado. This brought Luxury's Empire pal, Brandon P.Net to ringside in support of Luxury. The two men battled back and forth, until finally Luxury got the pin on Alvarado, with his feet blatantly on the ropes right in front of Commissioner Corona, for the win.
Match 5: The Clovis Bullrope Match. Out came Badboy Mike Dillinger with his bullrope, complete with a nasty looking cowbell. This brought out Tapout Kid. The men were then lashed on two each end of the bullrope and the match began. At first, they kept circling ref Sparkey Ballard, intangling him in the rope but soon the shinangans stopped and they got serious about destroying each other. While no blood was spilled, there was carnage and devistation. The match went all over the building, at one point both men used the top turnbuckle to yank the other man arm almost out of its socket. Several times the cowbell was brought into play against each matchs head, arms, legs, you name it. At one point Dillinger had Tapout strattled on the top turnbuckle and looked like he was going to wrap the rope around Tapout and do a belly to back suplex off the top rope but Dillinger's feet got caught in the other turnbuckles and both men came crashing down with the rope wrapped around tapout neck almost hanging him. Tapout soon broke loose and while Dillinger was trapped in the tree of woa. Tapout his his devisting double knee to the chest of Dillinger not once but twice. This then started Tapout's quest to hit all 4 turnbuckles to win the match. Several times both men got to the 3rd turnbuckle only to have the other man halt the process. Finally both men phsicially beat, Tapout started to hit the turnbuckles, while Dillinger followed right behind him. Both men were at 3, The fans called for Tapout to jump over Dillinger to tag the last turnbuckle. As he did, Dillinger's shoulder hit the turnbuckle. Ref Spakey called for the bell, and started to declare Tapout Kid the winner, but Corona said No, that Dillingers shoulder hit the turnbuckle first. Forcing Sparky to name Dillinger the winner. After the match, Tapout demanded a rematch at the next show but this time it would be Tapout's specialty, a No DQ Submission Match. Dillinger agreed to the match which will be held on March 12th.
Match 6: NAW Lightheavyweight title match. Champion Brandon P.Net vs Wise Guy. Wise Guy entered the ring first, followed by Rik Luxury who help introduce Champion P.Net. The stipulation was announced that if P.Net won, Showtime Billy Silver would be wearing the roller skates, if Wise Guy won, Corona would be skating!! These two young men are the future of NAW and they showed it in this match. Evenly match but both wanting. P.Net wanting to keep his title and Wise Guy wanting the title so bad he could taste it. Several times both Luxury and Corona treied to interfere or distract the ref, but Billy Silver was there to counter anything Corona might try and that helped out Wise Guy tremedously. In the end, while Corona sidestepped Billy Silver and got up on the ring apron to distract the ref, Luxury tossed a set of Brass Knux to Brandon P.Net. P.Net stood there looking confused, while the ref saw him and called for the bell. giving the win by DQ to Wise Guy. This totally pissed of Wise Guy who wanted the win but by pinfall to win the belt and he demaned a rematch. At the same time, Brandon P.Net was livid at Rik Luxury for tossing him the knux when he felt he had things in order. He then went on to say how it was cause of Luxury and Corona he lost the Dojo title, a claim which Corona quickly stated but he'd help Luxury keep P.Net's other title. P.Net didnt care and said he might not need The Empire or Luxury any more and turned and shook Wise Guys hand and told him anytime he wanted a fair rematch, it was his!!
After this, match, Silver reminded Corona that he lost thus he would have to wear roller skates. Corona made a counter offer and the two men agreed that at a future date, they would both be in Roller skates and perhaps have a little race with the loser getting his head shaved!!!!!! More details to come on this startling development in the Silver-Corona feud.
Match 7: NAW Heavyweight champion, Money Mike Rayne took on the challange of the Master of the Italian Claw, Vennis Demarco. This was a good challange for the Champion as Demarco has the goods to bring it home, but was distracted when the fresno crowd started calling him "Pizza Boy" and wanting to know "Where's My Pizza". This disturbed Demarco enough to give Money Mike the advantage and after a seasaw battle hit Demarco wiht a Superkick for the 1-2-3. After the match, Rayne went to superkick Demarco again, but Demarco tossed Ref Brad Bacardi at Rayne who KO'd Bacardi.
Great show, some video highlights should be on www.northamericanwrestling.com soon.
Next show will be at the Dojo on March 12th at 6pm. At least one match has been signed, Tapout Kid vs Badboy Mike Dillinger in a Submission match. plus all the regular NAW Superstars will be there, Money Mike Rayne, Brandon P.Net, Wise Guy, Red Rhyno,.Showtime Billy Silver, Commissioner Corona, The Channel Surfers and many many more.
