NAW NEWS YEARS RESOLUTIONS 1/4/08 RESULTS

Attendance was in the 150-200 range, which was exceptional considering the Storm of the century that was brewing outside that not only kept fans home but several wrestlers were either snowed in or flooded out. But the crowd was a good loud NAW crowd who were ready for some kick ass NAW wrestling!

The show opened with Ring Announcer Dave, interviewing Former World Bum-Fight champ, Dumpster Diver Dan. During the interview, Red Rhino stormed the ring to avenge (sevennfold??) Triple D's attack on him at the last show. El Gato Gordo came in to help Dumpster when all hell broke loose and the 3 were asked if they wanted to make this a tag match. They called to the back to see if anyone would join Red Rhino and out came Bad Boy Mike Dillinger. After a grueling match, Red Rhino and Bad Boy Mike Dillinger defeated Dumpster Diver Dan and El Gato Gordo

At this point NAW newcomer, The MEGAmerican, came out with his valet, Liberty Lad to introduce himself to the NAW fans and sing the National Anthem, NAW MySpace Champion, Sir Samurai took offence to this an attacked MEGAmerican, setting up their match later in the show..

Joe Applebaumer won a 'Pick your title shot" Gauntlet match over Dan Daniels, Timothy Thatcher, John Martin, & Bobbye Harte.

Mike Hayashi retained his Lightheavyweight title in a Fourway Elimination match over Markus Riot, Virgil and Funnybone.

The Young Bucks became Number 1 Tag Team contenders with a win over NWA World Tag Team Champions, Joey Ryan & Karl Anderson, as well as The Cartel (Big Ugly & Vinny Massaro). Which featured the highlight of the night when The Young Bucks and Ryan/Anderson started the match with an impromptu Dance contest!

Newcomer, MEGAmerican became the New NAW MySpace Champion with a win over Sir Samurai.

In A Fatal Threeway dance for the NAW Tag Titles, Shiek Khan Abadi and Alexis Darevko defeated The Suburban Commandos and The Kruze Brothers to become the new NAW Tag Team Champions.

NAW Elimination X champion Money MIke Rayne w /Holly Renee, retained his title with wins over The Sofa King, Mr Frost, T-rent and Hellfyre.

Primal made his NAW debut with a win over Sexy Sonny Sampson

The Hearts of Steel defeated the Associates in a Table match, which had the crowd on its feet, screaming like crazy and action all over the theater. I dont think we have seen the last of this as After the match, from out of nowhere, The Channel Surfers stormed the ring and helped the Associates work over the Hearts.

TNA Superstar, Frankie Kazarian defeated Billy Blade.

Rik Luxury, NAW Heavyweight Champion retained his title in a 3-way dance with Jardi Frantz and former WWE Superstar, Gangrel

Upcoming important Dates:

POSTPONED NAW Open House and Student show at the NAW Dojo in Fresno. Date TBA

Feb 17th NAW returns to The Fat Cat Music Lounge in Modesto CA

March 9th. NAW returns to Fresno at a new venue, The Raddison Hotel and Banquet Facility in downtown Fresno, right across from the Fresno Convention Center.
